RetroCraft was created as a retro-style 2D experience inspired by the world and visual identity of Minecraft. The project explored platforming and sandbox ideas through colorful pixel-art environments, bringing a nostalgic interpretation of familiar Minecraft-inspired concepts into a side-view game.
Development was discontinued due to limited development time and copyright concerns surrounding Minecraft intellectual property. The project was archived rather than expanded further, especially given the possibility that similar concepts could one day be explored officially by Minecraft itself.
